The team behind Women in Comedy Montreal are proud to present Montreal’s second annual LADYFEST
taking place at Theatre Sainte-Catherine and other locations from September 12 to 18, 2016.
LADYFEST Montreal was born out of a desire to celebrate the hilarious and talented female comedians in Montreal and beyond.
In 2015 our pal and mascot Narnie the narwhal led us through 3 crazy nights of hilarity and underwater themed jokes! It was basically the best time ever and we are so excited to be doing it again!
LADYFEST 2016 will bring together comedians, improvisers, sketch artists, burlesque performers and
storytellers from Montreal, Toronto, Boston and beyond in a week long bash of merriment.
Casting the LADYFEST umbrella over several local weekly independant shows, the festival will culminate with four nights of comedy at Theatre Sainte-Catherine, each featuring a different line-up of comedic styles (Stand-up, Sketch/storytelling, Improv,and Burlesque).
LADYFEST 2016, in the spirit of true celebration of ladies, will also feature fellow celebrators of ladies and allies to the cause.
We are a community of bodacious sea creatures navigating the wild waters of comedy, busting through the ice and onto the stage to take you by storm, to my you cry laughter tears to show you just how ready we are to bring the funny.
