Amanda Xeller is a character comedian, sketch writer, and director residing in Brooklyn. Her work has been featured across the States and in Canada. She won the coveted Best of the Fest award at Montreal Sketchfest ‘25 and the rare Lifetime Achievement Award at Montreal Sketchfest ‘22 (only 2 have been given out since its inception in 2006).
She’s been on Adult Swim, Disney+, in music videos, and was in the short film "All Aboard The Gravy Train," which premiered in Cannes. She was on the stand up episode of the Chompers podcast with Gimlet Media. She's won every comedy competition she’s been in.
Amanda produced the annual Moxie Sketch Lab for women, trans, and non-binary comedians for 11 years and currently produces Character Night, which is considered one of the best character showcases in NYC. She has directed for BoogieManja and The Magnet Theater and teaches character writing and performance at the Magnet Theater.
Amanda graduated from the Terry Knickerbocker Studio Acting Conservatory in May 2024. She has studied comedy at the Magnet Theater, Annoyance NY, & Upright Citizen's Brigade and clowning at Movement Theater, Barrow Group, TK, and with Complicité in London, England.
Amanda’s originally from Houston, Texas. She’s a runner, a drummer, and lover of horror movies.
